Enforcing your unique practice protocols

Using machine learning and human insight to ensure Revenue Retriever is focused on what’s important to you.

Revenue Retriever helps vets to avoid costly billing errors by identifying items which they have left off the customer invoice and prompting them to add the missing products and services.

This is underpinned by a series of rules which encode key elements of each clinic or group’s practice protocols.

At its simplest, a rule may state that if a particular procedure is included on the invoice, then certain other products and services must also be there. However, rules may also be far more complex where required.

Creating system rules to reflect your services

Revenue Retriever generates a unique set of rules for each organisation. It applies machine learning to analyse and find patterns within your billing data. It creates a long-list of rules and generates a simple justification to explain each one.

These rules are all expressed in a form that is human readable and understandable. Alongside the details of each rule, you can see the likelihood of it being triggered and its estimated financial impact.

Typically, our veterinary billing analysts work with your team to sense-check, fine-tune and prioritise these proposed rules. We will often start with a small subset of the rules to provide a gentle introduction for your vets, while delivering rapid return on investment for the business.

Updating and adding bespoke rules

You can ask Revenue Retriever to propose additional rules for review at any time. This may be part of a regular review but can also be particularly beneficial when you introduce new specialisms or procedures into a clinic.

If you are aware of a specific mis-billing problem, Revenue Retriever also allows you to build a rule yourself from scratch. It allows you to focus in on a single clinic or create a rule that applies to an entire region or group.
